A demonstration was organized to protest NM Rep. Dan Foley's arranging an New Mexico Air National Guard F-16 fly-over for the grand opening of a Roswell car dealership on Nov. 10, 2005. Rep. Foley was appearing in Ruidoso for a RoundHouse Review.

AspenFest Float 2005

We had a great ride ... lots of cheers, thumbs up, and "Go, Democrats!" More than just 'showing the banner', it seemed people were genuinely glad to see us there. As luck would have it, we were behind a troop of donkey riders. Ran out of candy, of course. Lot of spectators, lots of children. Great parade!
